Halfway there! 20 Weeks

I stole this weekly update format from a friend of mine. I probably won't keep up with doing this every week, but I'll try to do it every few weeks to keep you all up to date with what's going on.

How far along? 20

Total weight gain: up 3 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I lost 8 pounds during the first trimester

Maternity clothes? I'm wearing maternity pants all the time. I went through my closet today to see what shirts I can wear, and I can still get into about 1/3 of my tops. The ones that don't fit are mainly because they are too short to cover the panel on my maternity pants.

Feeling: Really good, a little tired, but not too bad.

Sleep: I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable at night, but if I change positions I'm fine most of the time.

Food cravings or aversions: None, really. I can't eat too much at one sitting, so I eat 5 or 6 times a day!

Best moment this week: Seeing our little peanut on the ultrasound!!

Movement: I'm feeling movement very regularly. Phillip has been able to feel it a time or two, but not very consistently. I thought that the baby was kicking more when I ran the handpiece (drill) at work, but I couldn't get it to do it again when I tried later in the day.

Gender: Still don't know, yay!!

Labor Signs: n/a

What I miss: Martini's and Sushi

What I’m nervous about: Nothing right now.

What I am looking forward to: Ordering the crib and really starting on the nursery.

Milestones & new this week: Today I'm officially halfway done!! The pregnancy site that I frequent says that the baby is the size of a cantaloupe (which seems like a big jump from last week's mango) or 6.5 inches long and 10.6 oz. At my ultrasound this week, the tech told us that the baby weighs around 13 oz, so I'll see if my doctor will adjust my due date at my appointment on Monday.
